Shooting Events:

Head for the foothills of the Rocky Mountains to photograph professional mountain bikers riding come rain, snow or shine. Every year these hard-core athletes lead our photographers up Dakota Ridge to capture intense moments asthe bikers hurtle down a steep rocky trail.

Shoot a regional track and field event at a local University. Track and Field will push your photographic skills with lots of action and changing light.

East High-school basketball team plays in a classic downtown gymnasium. This, historic gym always offers a great location for strobe work – complicated action shots and difficult angles, followed by posed portraits of the young athletes.

A1 Boxing is the home of competitive kick boxers and boxers. Work with dramatic lighting and tight spaces to nail the knock-out punch, followed by ring side location portraits of these athletes.

Roller Derby: Photograph one of the top teams in the US, the Rocky Mountain Roller Girls as they scrimmage. Also learn to make expert portraits of the players on location.

Hot new events will add to the excitement this year as well as a half day of studio and location lighting for getting those expert sports portraits!
