Portraits of Courageous Beauty
Breast Cancer Survivors Speak Through The Lens

In October of 2008, WWA Executive Director, Greg Cradick initiated the first "Portraits of Courageous Beauty" class in conjunction with Denver Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the cure. For nearly a year, artists have set out to achieve a higher level of portraiture as they work with breast cancer survivors, creating powerful imagery that will culminate in a published book and photo exhibition. Exhibit is up October 3 - 29th, 2009 at the Denver Public Library Central Branch Vida Ellis Gallery, get the experience of Portraits of Courageous Beauty book for yourself!
